1. Introduction

MOSJIE STUDIO (“we”) develops and operates MOSJIE CAMERA (the “App”). We follow a data-minimization principle and collect only what is necessary to provide capture, AI composition, and filter features. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Camera viewfinder frame (only when you use AI Composition)

When you actively use the “AI Composition” feature, the App compresses a single current viewfinder frame and uploads it to our servers and a third-party AI model provider solely to compute composition and framing suggestions in real time. This image is not used to identify you, build profiles, or serve advertising, and is not retained longer than needed to provide and secure the service. If you do not use AI Composition, no frame is uploaded.

2.2 Anonymous device identifier

To manage the daily free quota and attribute your in-app purchases without requiring you to register or log in, the App generates a random identifier (UUID) locally on your device. It does not contain your name, Apple ID, phone number, or email, and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2.3 Purchase information

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your card or payment account details. We only receive an Apple-signed transaction receipt used to verify and unlock your entitlement.

2.4 Diagnostics and security data

To keep the service reliable and prevent abuse, we log necessary request metadata (such as time, endpoint, result status, and coarse network origin). These logs are not used for advertising or personal profiling.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect / Upload

• Location: Only when you enable the “location watermark” does the App resolve your location into a city/area name on-device and write it onto your photo watermark. Location coordinates are never uploaded to our servers.
• Photo library: Photos you capture are saved to your local library. We do not scan, read, or upload the contents of your library.
• We do not collect contacts or health data, and we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

4. Third Parties

• Apple: Handles all subscription and in-app purchase payments and renewals.
• AI model provider: Receives the viewfinder frame described in 2.1 only to return composition analysis.

5. Storage and Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Entitlements are authoritative on the server; the client makes no forgeable determination. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.

6. Retention and Your Rights

The App does not require registration or sign-in. To provide daily quota and in-app entitlements, the server creates an anonymous service account linked to an anonymous device identifier. You can:

• Revoke camera, microphone, photo, or location permissions at any time in system Settings;
• Open App Settings → Account & Data → Delete Account & Cloud Data to immediately delete the anonymous service account and associated server-side data. This does not delete local photos or settings, and does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• If you cannot use the in-app entry point, email mosjie_camera@odmay.cn to request deletion. To verify the request, we may need the device identifier shown in the App.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International Transfers

Our servers may be located outside your region. By using the App you understand that relevant data may be transferred to and processed in such regions, with protections consistent with this policy.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be surfaced in the App.

AI Composition data sharing and choice

Before the first upload, we ask for your explicit consent. Only after consent, one current viewfinder frame, the selected LUT, and anonymous device/service-session identifiers are sent over an encrypted connection to MOSJIE and processed by Alibaba Cloud DashScope / Qwen Vision to return that composition suggestion. You can withdraw consent at any time in the App under Settings → AI Data Sharing; after withdrawal, the App will not upload new frames for AI Composition.
